She is currently in New York, demonstrating how to make the traditional shoe style appealing again. While jeweled, embellished, and maximalist shoes are an incoming trend in the shoe department, the actress and her styling duo, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, kept her looks polished this week, often pairing heeled pumps with monochrome looks.
She appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday wearing a standout sheer black floral lace top layered beneath an oversized leather jacket. Biel went black on black for the late-night show, pairing the 16Arlington embroidered Olarna top in black with wide-leg trousers that slightly covered her shoes.
On her feet, she opted for a sultrier and sexier alternative to a basic leather pump. She instead went for a pair of sheer Christian Louboutin Neoalto Mesh Pumps, featuring a black lace pattern and suede trim. The shoes feature a pointed-toe with a low-cut V-front and a cutout at the center of the vamp, adding another flirty detail to go with the daring pop of red on the sole that is the designer’s signature touch.
She stuck to the formula for her appearance earlier that day on “The Today Show.” For the morning show, which tapes in the Midtown neighborhood of Manhattan, she went for an all-white look instead.
