NYC Mayor Mamdani berated & booed by Pro-Palestine protesters during vigil for Oct. 7 victims
While attending an “Israelis For Peace” vigil in Union Square Park, anti-Israel demonstrators surrounded the memorial ceremony, chanting against New York City Mayor and vocal Israel critic Zohran Mamdani.
Among what could be heard was, “Long Live Hamas,” accusing the mayor of being a traitor and sellout.
Other statements included “You opportunist piece of s***, you coward, shame on you, and How do you let this happen?
“Zohran, you can’t hide; we charge you with genocide,” the protesters yelled in unison, as well as “Mayor Mamdani, take a stand. Stop the sale of stolen land” and “Shame on you.”
Mamdani reportedly remained unfazed by protests
