Gouverneur, NY (WRGB) — A 50-year-old Gouverneur man was arrested following an investigation involving child sexual abuse material and child exploitation, according to New York State Police.
Robert Bush was arrested after investigators executed a search warrant at his home in Gouverneur on the morning of Oct. 6.
State Police said Bush faces the following charges:
One count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child.One count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.
Bush was arraigned in Gouverneur Town Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing and involves the New York State Police Troop B Computer Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations Massena, the Gouverneur Police Department and the St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.
