Tony-, Emmy-, and Grammy-winning Wicked film star Cynthia Erivo will headline a November 16 benefit concert for Lincoln Center at their David Geffen Hall. The performance will support the venue’s Free and Choose What You Pay programming, aimed at increasing financial accessibility to Lincoln Center events.

Concert-only tickets for the evening will go on sale October 13 at 12 PM ET at LincolnCenter.org.

Lincoln Center’s ticketing programs have already been responsible for bringing in nearly three million people to the Lincoln Center campus, for performances, educational events, festivals, and more.

“The arts belong to everyone, and everyone should feel that they belong at Lincoln Center,” says Lincoln Center President and CEO Mariko Silver in a statement. “That belief is at the heart of everything we do. We are profoundly grateful to the supporters who help us open our doors wider, bring extraordinary artists to New York, and ensure that more people can experience the joy, connection, and possibility the arts create.”

Erivo made her Broadway debut in the 2016 revival of The Color Purple, reprising a performance she gave in London’s West End and winning a Tony Award in the process. Erivo has been mostly in Hollywood since then, most notably starring as Elphaba in the two-part film adaptation of Broadway’s Wicked, and earning an Academy Award nomination for her performance in the title role of Harriet, about abolitionist activist Harriet Tubman.
