Police have arrested and charged a brute for fatally beating a man in a fight that erupted inside a Chelsea sex shop on Sunday night.
According to police sources, the murder occurred at around 9 p.m. inside Rainbow Station — an adult entertainment store specializing in fetish items, magazines, lingerie, and other items, located at 203 8th Ave.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police learned that the two men, the 60-year-old victim and 25-year-old Imani McColley of Queens, got into an argument inside the store that quickly turned physical and spilled outside.
Once on the street, cops said, McColley allegedly shoved his victim to the ground and repeatedly stomped on his head. He then took the victim’s wallet and fled the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics and officers from the 10th Precinct rushed to the scene after a 911 call reported an assault in progress, where they found the 60-year-old man badly beaten.
EMS rushed him to Bellevue Hospital, but he could not be saved and was pronounced dead. Police have not yet released his identity, pending proper family notification.
Law enforcement sources said McColley returned to the location later that night and an eyewitness notified cops, who took him into custody
McColley’s last known address was a homeless shelter in Jamaica, Queens; he has been charged with murder and two counts of robbery.
Police sources say this is not the first time McColley has been cuffed for attacking a person in that area. In September 2025, he was arrested for assault one block away from the murder scene when he got into a verbal dispute during which he punched a victim, leaving them with pain and swelling. There are at least five arrests on his record, sources noted.
Sunday’s murder appears to be the first in the 10th Precinct this year; the command had reported no homicides year-to-date as of Oct. 4. There had been one murder at the same point in 2025.
