Over the weekend, Kelly Clarkson and a New York City store engaged in a back-and-forth that has left the internet asking, “Who’s telling the truth?” On Saturday, the “Since U Been Gone” singer called out Art of Play in Brooklyn for allegedly treating her like she couldn’t afford to buy one of their items. The store explained Clarkson wanted to buy Molly, a “one-of-a-kind singing and dancing bird automaton” that was hanging on the wall that wasn’t for sale because it “plays an important role in the magic shows we host here.”
