NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — If you have accrued debt from City fines, you might just be in luck.
New York City officials have launched a debt relief program, Debt Demolisher, to assist small businesses and homeowners.

The program assists eligible New Yorkers in resolving debt from City fines at a reduced cost.
“City government shouldn’t saddle New Yorkers with endless fines and interest,” said Mayor Zohran Mamdani. “When the city issues a fine, the goal is to incentivize compliance with the rules that keep all of us safe and healthy, not make it impossible to grow your business or repair your home.”
Infractions may range from building code violations to failing to properly dispose of a mattress.
