A new Christmas store is coming to the Western New York area! We haven’t even gotten to Halloween yet, but one of the big stories this fall is the arrival of a brand-new Christmas mega store that will be opening soon.

Are you ready for Halloween? Have you put the pumpkins and cornstalks up around the house yet? With less than a couple of weeks to go until Halloween, most people have started putting up their decorations, and some have really gone all out this year!

In places like East Aurora, New York, the Halloween decorations have gotten so impressive that there is even a map to help you find the homes showing off their best ghosts and goblins!

But the trend of going big isn’t just for Halloween anymore. Big-box stores and retail chains have been selling Christmas merchandise for quite some time already. If you’re looking for a new pre-lit Christmas tree or a 10-foot Santa Claus, now might be a good time to start shopping.

However, a new store has Western New York buzzing, and opening day is coming soon!

Spirit Christmas Store Opening Soon in Amherst, New York

According to reports, a Spirit Christmas store will soon open in Amherst, New York, joining the growing trend of dedicated holiday shopping destinations.

The same company behind Spirit Halloween is opening a large store devoted to Christmas gifts, decorations, apparel, and much more, according to its website.

The new store is expected to occupy the former Planet Fitness location on Maple Road in Amherst.

Opening day is scheduled for just after the start of November, giving shoppers an opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit well before Thanksgiving.

If you’re looking to get a jump-start on your Christmas decorations, many stores already have their holiday displays ready to go.

We’re a little behind this year, and our kids are not happy about that! I would love to go all out with our Halloween decorations, but the weather can change so quickly at the end of October. Sometimes, it’s frustrating to take everything down when there’s already snow covering the decorations.

That being said, I’m hoping we can really dazzle the neighborhood with a great holiday lighting display this year.

We’re already using artificial intelligence to help us visualize what the finished display could look like. I’m just not sure whether our budget will allow us to bring the entire vision to life!

Perhaps a store like Spirit Christmas will have some good deals that will help us get closer to the holiday display we’re imagining.

Either way, it looks like the Christmas shopping season is arriving early in Western New York once again!
