During a City Council Committee on Technology hearing, an official from SpaceXAI testified about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence.
The company, which is behind the Grok AI chatbot and is a subsidiary of Elon Musk’s SpaceX skipped last week’s high-profile Council hearing on AI and testified Friday only after being subpoenaed by the Council.
Manhattan Councilwoman Carmen De La Rosa, the chairwoman of the Technology Committee, joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to discuss the hearing.
She represents all or parts of Washington Heights, Inwood and Marble Hill.
