Dates have been set for the upcoming Off-Broadway bow of Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton in Manfred Karge‘s solo play Man to Man. The production, coming stateside after a U.K. run, will play the Lucille Lortel Theatre beginning February 21, 2027, officially opening February 28. Stephen Unwin directs.

Tickets will go on pre-sale October 21 at 10 AM ET, with general sales beginning October at 10 AM ET, both at MantoManPlay.com.

The work follows a woman who, following the death of her husband, assumes his identity, fighting to stay alive against war, dictatorship, hunger, and humiliation. Swinton, who is making her first stage appearance in three decades with the production, starred in the work’s U.K. premiere in 1988, first at Edinburgh’s Traverse Theatre and later at the Royal Court in London.

The production features design by Bunny Christie, lighting design by Ben Ormerod, sound design by Elena Peña, and projection design by Matt Powell. Kane Husbands is movement director. Erin Gioia Albrecht will serve as production stage manager for the Off-Broadway bow, with NVK Inc. general managing and production management by Brian Freeland.

The revival is being produced by Brian and Dayna Lee, The Royal Court Theatre, Berliner Ensemble, and Madison Wells Live.
