The New York State Police have confirmed a “police presence” outside the home of a lieutenant colonel in the NYSP.
A State Police spokesperson said Tuesday afternoon that Lt. Col. Jared Duffy’s Colonie home has a police presence “related to an ongoing investigation” Tuesday. No charges, the official says, have been filed.
Jared Duffy, according to the NYSP page, “oversees special projects on behalf of the Superintendent” as assistant deputy superintendent/chief of staff in the state police’s executive team. He’s been with the NYSP for 24 years.
