While all of this news is obviously rad – We love us some Josh Homme and the other homies, and it’s always good to have the Queens back in these parts. – the big news here is the tour’s other opener, besides the Pixies: Denver’s own Wheelchair Sports Camp!

Hang on. That’s just part of the hells-yeah headline. Kayln Heffernan and Gregg Ziemba, who just finished a jaunt supporting Peaches, are set to tag along on all 16 dates of the tour, which kicks off on Saturday, May 1 in San Diego.

“I think the power of the internet got us this,” says Heffernan. “Our vid for the song ‘EAT MEAT!’ really hit the right people.”

“Actually, somehow, Greggy called it and the Peaches tour,” Heffernan says of how this huge opportunity manifested itself. “He’s really witchy. Queens started liking our posts, and Gregg said we were gonna go on tour with them someday. We didn’t realize it would be in May. This new album has been such a mighty push.

It was perfect timing for the news. Heffernan and company have a brand new video set to drop this coming week for the song “DEAD” on Tuesday, Oct. 27.

“I’m still in shock,” Heffernan confides. “And when we found out Pixies was the main support, we really flipped. Gregg didn’t sleep all night. We’re so ready to rock with them and pull as many pranks as possible.”
