New York Fashion Week kicked off 101 floors above Manhattan as Carlo Seneca, fourth-generation CEO of C&A Seneca, joined forces with Indira Cesarine, founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Untitled Magazine , for an exclusive celebration at Avenue Sky Lounge at The Edge. Bringing together fashion, music, art, and New York nightlife, the evening also marked a major milestone for C&A Seneca Construction as the family-owned firm celebrated its 100th anniversary.

The newly opened Avenue Sky Lounge provided a spectacular setting for the occasion, with its warm interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and panoramic views of Manhattan. Guests gathered for cocktails and music as the sun set over the city, kicking off Fashion Week against a skyline that has been central to C&A Seneca’s story for generations.

Now led by Carlo Seneca, C&A Seneca Construction has spent a century contributing to New York’s ever-changing landscape, establishing a longstanding presence across the city’s hospitality, entertainment, and lifestyle spaces. As the fourth generation to lead the family business, Carlo continues to build upon that legacy while bringing a contemporary vision to the spaces where New Yorkers dine, gather, and celebrate.

The evening’s location held particular significance. C&A Seneca recently completed the transformation of the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards, including Avenue Sky Lounge and the Peak with Priceless restaurant. Hosting the anniversary celebration in one of the firm’s latest projects made the occasion especially meaningful, bringing together the company’s history and its continued role in shaping some of the city’s most exciting destinations.

The collaboration with The Untitled Magazine was a natural fit, connecting C&A’s longstanding relationship with New York’s hospitality and entertainment industries to the creative energy of Fashion Week. With a guest list spanning fashion, media, art, design, and nightlife, the event reflected the intersection of industries that continue to shape the city’s cultural identity.

DJ Eva Vos opened the evening, immediately setting the tone in a head-turning bright pink look complete with one of her signature feathered headpieces. Known for mixing pop, disco, funk, house, and R&B, Vos brought her playful energy behind the decks as guests arrived, mingled, and took in the sweeping views.

Later, The Untitled Magazine cover stars The Muses took over. The New York DJ and production duo, Jack James and Daniel Walters, brought their mix of dark disco, house, and underground pop to the 101st floor, shifting the evening from an elegant cocktail gathering into a full Fashion Week party. With Manhattan glowing through the windows behind the DJ booth, the setting became as much a part of the night as the music itself.

Fashion, naturally, was everywhere. Guests arrived in everything from metallic dresses and sheer evening looks to sharp tailoring and all-black ensembles, reflecting the eclectic mix of personalities that make up New York’s creative community. The evening brought together an energetic crowd celebrating both the start of Fashion Week and the milestone anniversary of a company that has helped create the spaces where the city’s most memorable moments unfold.

As the night continued, guests gathered around the DJ booth, posed against the skyline, and took to the dance floor while The Muses kept the music going. The panoramic setting gave even the quieter moments a dramatic backdrop, with New York stretching out in every direction.

For Carlo Seneca, the event offered an opportunity to celebrate a century of family history while looking toward the future of C&A Seneca Construction. From its early beginnings to its latest work at Hudson Yards, the firm continues to evolve alongside the city, creating spaces that bring together hospitality, architecture, entertainment, and culture.

The partnership with The Untitled Magazine captured that same spirit, combining the magazine’s creative community with C&A Seneca’s legacy in New York construction. Together, they brought Fashion Week to one of Manhattan’s most impressive vantage points, transforming a company milestone into a celebration of the city itself.

And while NYFW would spend the following days moving between runways, presentations, and parties across Manhattan, Carlo Seneca and The Untitled Magazine started the week on top, 101 floors above the city, celebrating fashion, creativity, and 100 years of building New York.
