The Tournament of Roses on Tuesday, Oct. 27, will crown the 108th Rose Queen during a ceremony on the Tournament House front steps.
Last month, Evita Bridge, Mayfield Senior School; Tessa Choi, La Cañada High; Daniela Guzmán, Arcadia High; Irene Maddox, Eagle Rock High; Maria Teresa McDonald, Thurgood Marshall Secondary School; Elizabeth Rweyemamu, Polytechnic School; and Lucy Wendling, San Marino High, were announced as members of the Rose Court for the 138th Rose Parade held on Friday, Jan. 1, 2027.
The Rose Queen tradition dates back to the 1905 Rose Parade. At the ceremony, Tournament of Roses President Terry Madigan will announce the Rose Queen and will crown her with the Mikimoto crown.
Members of the Rose Court will ride in the parade and serve as ambassadors of the Tournament of Roses by participating in community events in the lead up to parade day.
