FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A Brooklyn building super died on Wednesday during a fight over stolen packages, sources told PIX11 News.
Police said a 41-year-old man was found with head injuries inside an Ocean Avenue apartment building in Flatbush around 8:15 a.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died, according to authorities.
Sources said the super was confronting a man he previously accused of stealing packages from the building lobby. An argument between the two escalated to a brawl, according to sources.
Police have not released the victim’s identity, and the cause of his death is under investigation. Sources said that the NYPD is talking to a man in connection with the super’s death, but no charges have been filed as of Thursday morning.
