Newark Liberty International Airport is expected to get a major facelift as part of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s proposed $45 billion capital plan released Thursday.
The plan would include the development of a new Terminal B, an expansion of Terminal A and updates to Terminal C, as well as other projects like the completion of a new AirTrain and adding a taxiway, Sarah McKeon, the Port Authority’s aviation director, said at the agency’s board meeting.
