The New York Giants took the field on Thursday for their second of three practices ahead of a Week 11 game against the Green Bay Packers at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Beforehand, the team’s three coordinators addressed reporters, and then interim head coach Mike Kafka briefly spoke.
As his predecessor generally did, Kafka updated the status of several injured players, including rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who remains in concussion protocol.
“No big changes (to the injury report),” Kafka said.
Ultimately, that means Dart is still in the middle of protocol and unlikely to play on Sunday as expected. That paves the way for veteran Jameis Winston to start his first game of the year.
