On Wednesday morning, a fire tore through an apartment in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. At the time, New York City Mayor Madani confirmed that an 11-year-old boy had died in the blaze.

The Fire broke out on the eleventh floor of an apartment building located on Morris Avenue between East 140th Street and Third Avenue at 12:50 a.m. Four other people, including two teenagers, were taken to local hospitals in critical condition.
