Detectives in Brooklyn are on the hunt for an e-bike rider who stalked and then raped a woman inside her home early on Sunday morning.
According to police sources, the horrific incident began when a 28-year-old woman was walking near Willoughby and Bedford Avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant at just after 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 1 when a man riding an e-bike approached her from behind and slapped her buttocks.
Though the suspect initially fled, police believe that he returned and began secretly stalking the victim to a nearby apartment building.
When she entered her building, cops said, the sicko followed her inside — a scene captured by security cameras nearby, law enforcement sources said.
Once they were both inside, authorities reported, the creep confronted and attacked the woman, then raped her on the staircase.

Officers from the 79th Precinct responded to the incident. EMS rushed the victim to a local hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
So far, no arrests have been made in the case. Police said the rapist was last seen wearing grey pants, black jacket, and a beanie hat.
