Kelly Ripa gave fans a rare look inside her New York City townhouse for Halloween. The Live with Kelly and Mark co-host, 56, channeled socialite Edith “Little Edie” Bouvier Beale, who famously appeared in the 1975 documentary Grey Gardens.
Dressed in a black turtleneck, micro shorts, tights, and a red headscarf, Ripa recreated one of Little Edie’s memorable moments from the film, walking down the staircase while waving a small American flag.

The rest of Ripa’s Instagram carousel featured photos of her home on Halloween, including tiny burlap gift bags that were seemingly prepared for trick-or-treaters. Another table in her house featured decorations inspired by sugar skulls—a popular Day of the Dead tradition.
“Happy Halloween from all of us at Grey Gardens,” Ripa wrote in the caption.

Grey Gardens follows two relatives of Jackie Kennedy, Edith “Big Edie” Ewing Bouvier Beale and Little Edie, who lived in a dilapidated mansion in the wealthy enclave of East Hampton. The documentary was adapted into a musical and a televised film, the latter of which stars Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore.
Ripa and her husband-slash-co-host Mark Consuelos own a five-story home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, which they purchased in 2013, per The Real Deal. The couple, who married 30 years ago, share three adult children: Michael, 29, Lola, 25, and Joaquin, 23.
Ripa and Consuelos broke records with their morning talk show’s latest Halloween special, which featured a total of 60 costume changes this year. “We are taking on your favorite characters from movies, TV shows, sports moments and trends that have taken over your feed,” Ripa said at the beginning of the one-hour episode.

She and her husband dressed up as superheroes—Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, to be exact—as well as celebrities like Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny. Ripa was also dressed as Elizabeth Holmes at one point, while Consuelos put on a costume fit for The Traitors.
“As we get older, we don’t know what the hell is going on,” Consuelos, 55, told USA Today before the special aired.
