NEW YORK (WABC) — Eyewitness News and ABC 7 are watching election results across the Tri-State as projections for winners are coming in for some of the key races in the high-stakes midterm elections.
ABC News projects that the Democrats will win enough seats to gain control of both the House and Senate.

And in the Tri-State, Kathy Hochul is expected to win the New York gubernatorial race over her GOP challenger Bruce Blakeman, ABC News projects.
ABC News has also called the U.S. Senate race in New Jersey for incumbent Democrat Cory Booker.
And in Connecticut, ABC News has called the gubernatorial race for Democrat Ned Lamont, who was seeking his third term in office.
