Aazlynn McCray was crowned Oildorado Queen for 2025 Tuesday night and her coronation was a family affair.
Aazlynn is the younger sister of 2021 Oildorado Queen Reagan McCray, and Reagan got to place the crown on her sister. It is a tradition for the past queen to crown the new queen.
In her biography, Aazlynn said she was inspired by Reagan experience in 2021 and said her favorite memory is attending the Maids of Petroleum Pageant in 2021 and seeing her sister being crowned queen.
The new queen is a sophomore at Taft Union High School and plays three sports — volleyball, basketball and softball.
Katelynn Moore was named Oildorado Princess and Samantha Harp was named Miss Congeniality by her fellow Maids of Petroleum. The Queen’s Pageant was held before a packed house in the Taft Union High School auditorium.
