New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd has reportedly been critically wounded in a shooting in Manhattan, per the New York Post. The shooting occurred early Sunday morning.
Police say that the shooting took place on 38th street in Midtown at around 2 a.m., per the Post, who noted that police did not identify Boyd as the victim. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, per the Post.

Boyd signed a one-year deal with the Jets this offseason after two years with the Houston Texans. He was placed on injured reserve in August with a shoulder injury.
The Jets are not playing Sunday, having lost to the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football.
