Previously, she held the role of client and broker liaison officer at Guardian Life Limited of Jamaica, where her exceptional performance earned her the title of Best Employee of EBD, marking a significant highlight in her career.
For thirteen years, Mrs. Grant served as the services manager at Blue Cross of Jamaica, where she developed a comprehensive support system with providers to ensure that visitors to the provider services department had their needs met effectively. Her innovative approach to service delivery enhanced client experiences and led to her recognition as Best Employee during her tenure.
Mrs. Grant takes particular pride in being named Employee of the Year at Bronx Neighborhood Housing Services CDC Inc., a distinction she achieved after only one year with the organization.
In terms of education, Mrs. Grant holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean and a diploma in institutional management from the University of Technology in Jamaica. She has pursued various professional certifications, including supervisory management from the Insurance College of Jamaica, public speaking, property management, and credentials as a certified insurance agent and certified biller and coder.
Reflecting on her career, Mrs. Grant attributes her success to her resilience and determination in overcoming personal challenges, including supporting her husband through a medical illness and navigating major life transitions. These experiences have shaped her commitment to living purposefully and aiding those in need.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Mrs. Grant is actively engaged in community initiatives. She volunteers with her church’s welfare, a partner with food bank in New York City.
Her contributions to the industry have been recognized through several accolades, including Employee of the Year at Bronx Neighborhood Housing Services CDC, Inc. Best Employee at Guardian Life Limited of Jamaica, and Best Employee at Blue Cross of Jamaica. Originally from St. Catherine, Mrs. Grant is a mother of one son and one daughter. In her free time, she enjoys watching cartoons, reading, listening to music, and volunteering.
