A woman in her 30s was found dead with a head wound on a sidewalk outside a Lower East Side Park over the weekend, and investigators are eyeing her death as suspicious.

The body of the victim was discovered around 7:45 a.m. Sunday at Broome and Columbia streets, steps from Luther Gulick Park in Manhattan and near the Williamsburg Bridge, authorities and law-enforcement sources said.

The unidentified woman – believed to be in her 30s – was discovered unconscious and unresponsive around 7:45 a.m. on the sidewalk at Broome and Columbia streets, steps from Luther Gulick Park and near the Williamsburg Bridge, authorities and sources said. Her body was lying “in public view” when a bystander found her and called 911, sources said.

The woman, who had visible head trauma and is believed to have been in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, cops said. 

Police suspect potential foul play in her death, according to the sources. 

The city medical examiner’s office will officially determine how she died, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
