Fresh off a year packed with new music and major appearances, Foxy Shazam is headed to Philadelphia for a performance at Brooklyn Bowl next month.

The band is closing out one of their most eventful years yet. In addition to releasing Box of Magic, their 10th studio album, they also dropped another album earlier in the year and unveiled a new single and video featuring Corey Feldman. Their 2024 schedule included headlining roles on the U.S. Rock N Rolla Coast Tour and at Chicago’s Edgewater Music Festival.

Foxy Shazam also made notable contributions to recent DC Comics film and TV projects. Their classic song ‘Oh Lord’ was tapped as the theme for the second season of Peacemaker, and they worked closely alongside co-CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn, to create the theme song for ‘The Mighty Crab Joys,’ the fictional band featured in DC’s summer blockbuster: ‘Superman.’

Gunn has featured Foxy Shazam’s music in several DC projects and has referred to the band as “objectively the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world“.

Long celebrated as one of rock and roll’s most joyful and theatrical forces, the band’s upcoming performance will showcase music from their 20-year catalog—including tracks from Box of Magic and their fan-favorite ‘Oh Lord,’ which recently spent two weeks at No. 2 on Billboard’s Alternative Digital Song Sales chart.

Before embarking on a West Coast run with Waterparks, Foxy Shazam will stop in Philadelphia for a Tuesday night show at Brooklyn Bowl on Dec. 2. Doors open at 7 p.m.
