BROWNSVILLE — BROOKDALE HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER IS HOSTING A JOB FAIR for nurses interested in emergency room and critical care work, as well as roles at the Schulman and Schachne Nursing Home and Long Term Care Center. The Job Fair, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, will be held in Alumni Hall at the hospital’s 555 Rockaway Pkwy. location. 

On-site interviews will be offered, and applicants should bring a resume. Applicants are asked to create a profile on the OBH website. Hires will be affiliated with the United Healthcare Workers East Union of 1199SEIU.

According to its mission statement on the Job Fair poster, “One Brooklyn Health was established to preserve and enhance health care services in the communities of Central Brooklyn.” Its three participating hospitals and affiliated facilities are Brookdale Hospital Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, both in Brownsville; and Interfaith Medical Center in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
