1. Onondaga County IDA approves Micron land transfer, tax breaks
The Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency on Tuesday authorized the transfer of 820 acres of land and  $283.9 million in property tax exemptions for the Micron project.
2. Lawsuit claims OCIDA forcing 91-year-old from her home to make way for Micron
A lawsuit before the New York Supreme Court in Onondaga County claims the county’s Industrial Development Agency is going back on a 20-year agreement with a local family and pushing a 91-year-old woman out of her Clay home in order to make room for an incoming Micron semiconductor facility.
4. Bare Hill Correctional Facility to close, lawmakers say
Multiple lawmakers have confirmed that the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision will announce the closure of Bare Hill Correctional Facility in Franklin County Tuesday morning. They say staff will be moved to neighboring facilities. Upstate and Franklin Correctional Facilities are adjacent to Bare Hill.
5. Federal judge dismisses DOJ lawsuit over New York immigration court law
6. House overwhelmingly approves bill to force release of Epstein files
Accusers of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein –– along with House lawmakers who have led the charge to have files in the investigation into Epstein released –– heralded an expected vote in the lower chamber Tuesday to force the publication of more material, and called on the Senate to also pass the measure.Â
