The city of Buffalo is delaying the start of winter parking regulations due to favorable weather conditions.
The city announced Tuesday that winter parking regulations, including alternate parking and bus route restrictions, won’t begin until Dec. 1.
Overnight parking on designated bus routes will continue to be permitted between 1:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. until further notice. All other standard parking regulations remain in effect.
The city says it will continue monitoring weather patterns and reviewing parking needs on a weekly basis.
“We’re adjusting our winter parking schedule to match the conditions we’re seeing in the foreseeable forecast,” Buffalo Acting Mayor Chris Scanlon said in a statement. “We will continue monitoring the forecast and make additional adjustments if needed.”
