UTICA, N.Y. — The Mohawk Valley Water Authority will receive $3,822,000 in State grants to improve drinking water infrastructure. 

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced nearly $66 million in grants awarded to communities across New York State as part of the Lead Infrastructure Forgiveness and Transformation (LIFT) Grants initiative by identifying and replacing lead service lines.

These grants will help cover costs not fully funded by the federal Infrastructure Improvement and Jobs Act.
