STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 30-year-old man from New Springville is accused of videotaping a child who was partially clothed inside a home on Staten Island.

Gustavo Olivieri was arrested on Nov. 7 in connection with an incident in which the criminal complaint alleges that he pulled down a child’s pants and moved the victim’s legs while videotaping images of the child’s private parts.

The defendant’s voice was heard on the recording saying, “Here you go,” prosecutors allege in court filings.

The video was discovered on a cell phone that was owned by Olivieri, according to the complaint.

The child was younger than 16, police said.

Olivieri has been charged with use of a child in a sexual performance, promoting a sexual performance by a child, possessing a sexual performance by a child, unlawful surveillance and endangering the welfare of a child.

The defendant has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is due to appear in Criminal Court in St. George on Nov. 25, according to public records.

No defense attorney is listed for the defendant in online court records.
