STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The city Department of Transportation will conduct roadway work throughout Staten Island during the week of Nov. 24.

Paving crews will work during daytime and nighttime hours within Community Board 2 and Community Board 3. Maintenance crews will also operate across multiple Community Boards throughout the day and night.

The work is essential to maintaining safe and efficient roadways, according to the department. Temporary detours and street closures may occur in affected areas.

Residents should expect possible traffic delays and plan alternate routes as needed during the construction period.

There will be no work conducted on Thursday, Nov. 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

See below for the full paving schedule, as provided by the city. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or emergency road repairs, according to the Department of Transportation.
