MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man is accused of attacking two children near the High Line on Oct. 15, according to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Prosecutors alleged that around 11:45 a.m., 32-year-old Ramny Lopez hit the 2-year-old child while they were in a stroller. He’s then accused of punching the child’s father in the chest, who approached him, according to court documents.
The 2-year-old was visiting the High Line with their family while on vacation, according to prosecutors.
Prosecutors alleged that Lopez then punched the 7-year-old child just two blocks north of the High Line, five minutes after the first attack. The victim suffered from a swollen upper lip and a loose tooth, according to court documents.
Lopez is facing charges of assault, attempted assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
