BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Four men were arrested after over two dozen pounds of cocaine and up to $100,000 in cash were found stored in the basement of a Bushwick sports bar, authorities said Friday.

Daniel Camareno, 30, Jose Acevedo, 32, Adelfy Acevedo, 29, and Felipe Lopez, 54, are accused of running a drug trafficking operation and using the sports bar at 1204 Halsey St. as a stash location, according to the Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s Office.

Investigators found approximately 26 pounds of cocaine and cash stored in the bar’s basement on Nov. 14, authorities said. The drugs were hidden in a duffel bag underneath a bed and in a bookshelf. The cash was found wrapped in rubber bands in a shoe box.

A gun was allegedly found in Jose Acevedo’s Queens home, and a drug ledger and jewelry worth around $100,000 were recovered at Camareno’s Bronx home, authorities said. The pricey accessories were hidden in a speaker.

“These defendants allegedly turned a sports bar into a stash house, storing significant amounts of narcotics, expensive jewelry, and a gun – and thanks to the members of the NYPD it is game over for this illegal operation,” said NYPD Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch.

The defendants were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and Jose Acevedo was also charged with criminal possession of a firearm, prosecutors said.
