PHOENIX — Police said there was no evidence of shots being fired at Queen Creek High School after a report Friday morning.

Officers responded to the high school near Ocotillo and Signal Butte roads around 9:20 a.m. after a student reported hearing shots on campus, according to the Queen Creek Police Department.

Police checked the campus room by room and issued the all-clear around 11 a.m.

No injuries were reported. A lockdown at the high school has been lifted.

Parents who want to pick up their children from the school can do so according to school policy, police said.
