HELL’S KITCHEN, Manhattan (PIX11) — A man was killed early Sunday morning after a shooting in Hell’s Kitchen, according to police.
Just after 4 a.m., NYPD officers were alerted that someone had been shot near West 46th Street and 12th Avenue, officials said.
When officers arrived at the scene, a 39-year-old man identified as Gibson Winters was found with gunshot wounds to his back and groin.
Winters, of Brooklyn, was taken to a nearby hospital and was pronounced deceased by staff, according to police.
There were no arrests at the scene and the NYPD’s investigation is ongoing.
