Can you feel it? Soccer fever is quickly sweeping the city with the anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Eight World Cup games, including the final, will be hosted at MetLife Stadium. The highly anticipated World Cup draw also takes place on December 5. But before all that, on Monday, November 24 at 10 a.m., a ticker-tape parade will take place to celebrate Gotham FC’s dramatic National Women’s Soccer League championship.

On Saturday evening, Rose Lavelle scored in the 80th minute to secure the championship for Gotham FC over Washington Spirit, meaning that for the second time in just over a year, a women’s sports team from NYC will take part in a ticker-tape parade.

For tomorrow, make sure you arrive by 9:30 a.m. to catch the team process up Broadway between Barclay and Chambers streets. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at noon with a special ceremony outside City Hall. Please note that this will not be the traditional parade route across the Broadway corridor. Both the parade and ceremony are free to attend, but an RSVP is required for entry at City Hall.

Note that NYPD will have the following street closures in effect beginning at 9:30 a.m. and reopening after Sanitation has completed clean up post-parade:

Barclay Street between West Broadway and Broadway

Broadway between Park Place and Chambers Street

Chambers Street between Broadway and Centre Street
