ARVERNE, Queens (PIX11) — Two civilians were injured after a fire broke out at a house in Arverne, Queens, on Monday evening, according to the FDNY.
The incident happened at 5-38 Beach 68th Street at around 6:39 p.m.
Officials say the fire broke out on the first floor. The fire was under control at around 7:10 p.m.
The two civilians injured refused medical assistance, according to the FDNY.

Officials say the cause remains under investigation.
