Australia: Minor Hotels has expanded its upscale Avani brand in Australia with the opening of an extended stay property in Brisbane.
Avani Living introduces an extended stay offering within the Avani brand. It is designed to meet the “growing demand from travellers seeking more space, comfort and flexibility for both short trips and extended stays”.
The 225-unit Avani Living Queen’s Wharf Residences features one, two, and three-bedroom configurations, each with fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities.
Amenities include a lap pool, sauna and steam room with weekly wellness activations. A grab-and-go pantry will be introduced in 2026.
“As demand for Brisbane continues to increase, this addition strengthens our presence in the city and allows us to meet the increasing demand from travellers seeking more space, comfort and flexibility, whether their stay is short or long term,” said Craig Hooley, chief operating officer for Australasia at Minor Hotels.
The addition of Avani Living Queen’s Wharf Residences follows the recent announcement of Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel, which is scheduled to open in April 2026.
