Women’s powerlifting event scheduled for Peaches & Queens in Sanger

SANGER, Calif. (FOX26) — Peaches & Queens is hosting a Women’s Only Powerlifting America Meet in Sanger this weekend.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 18th at 7th and N Streets in downtown Sanger.

FOX26 News Reporter Alexis Govea visited Peaches & Queens to give us a preview of the event.

“We’re transforming 7th & N Street into a celebration of power, strength, and community!!

A space where women rise, lift, and inspire together.

The event is free for spectators and will have food available for purchase, a beer garden, family-friendly activities, vendors, and more.

We teamed up with Fresno State Powerlifting and put in the work to bring something truly historic to life… the first-ever all-women’s Powerlifting America meet in Sanger!
