STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for at least three suspects after they allegedly robbed a Staten Island home on Nov. 19, according to the NYPD.
Police said it happened near Richmond and Wilson avenues around 1 p.m. A 42-year-old man heard a knock at his door and he answered, according to authorities.
Police said two of the suspects are accused of forcing their way inside and asking the victim for money. The victim was then hit in the head with a blunt object, according to authorities.
Police said the suspects allegedly stole $500 and a set of keys from the home before running. A third suspect is accused of acting as a getaway driver of a 2001 GMC Denali with the New York license plate #LXS4877.
Police said one of the suspects got in the car, while the other ran from the house on foot, heading north on Richmond Avenue. The victim suffered cuts to his head but refused medical attention, according to authorities.

Sources told PIX11 News that the victim knows one of the suspects. Police described the first suspect as wearing a black sweater, black pants, multicolored sneakers and walking with a cane.
The second suspect was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants and multicolored sneakers, according to authorities. Police did not have a description of the third suspect.
