An investigation is underway after two people were found dead in a hotel room at the Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey, earlier this week, law enforcement officials said Wednesday morning.
According to officials, officers responded to the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City at about 4:55 p.m. on Sunday to find two people — a 36-year-old woman identified as Baoyi Bowie Zheng of Staten Island, New York, and a 68-year-old man, who was identified as Wei Guo Liang of Brooklyn, New York — dead inside a hotel room.
Autopsies revealed that Zheng died of a broken neck, while law enforcement officials said Liang was found to have died from self-inflicted stab wounds.
Officials did not immediately provide information when the pair died, nor did they detail a motive in this incident.
But, they said, an investigation is ongoing.
