Clarks’ 200th anniversary has been a year-long celebration featuring an abundance of new styles and collaborations. Now, the brand is continuing its celebratory year with the help of two other brands that are enjoying milestones this year. For their part, Atmos is celebrating its 25th anniversary, while Manhattan Records is celebrating its 45th. With so many milestones to celebrate this year, it’s no wonder the trio chose the Wallabee shoe to honor their achievements.
Taking on this silhouette with a bold hue and subtle details, this collaborative design is anything but minimal. With only 151 pairs being sold, this Wallabee will also be a limited-edition get that not everyone will be able to get their hands on. However, those who do will be able to don a bright and bold new shoe that celebrates more than just another collaboration, but rather all three brands.
Atmos, Clarks, and Manhattan Records revamp the Wallabee
Atmos/Clarks/Manhattan Records
Featuring its traditional Wallabee silhouette, the collaborative design dons its typical moccasin-inspired style and crepe sole. Updating this classic shoe is a blue suede upper that’s accented with Manhattan Records branding and a leather label that pays homage to vinyl record heritage. Distinctive details pay tribute to the record shop in Shibuya, Tokyo. Also included is RECOUTURE craftsmanship, which provides for a serial-numbered leather tag and purple stitching. The Atmos x Clarks x Manhattan Records Wallabee shoe will land via Atmos’ webstore on November 28 and will retail for ¥28,600 JPY, or approximately $182 USD. A highly limited-edition design, there’s no doubt that this bright blue will be flying off the shelves.
