Havoc brought Hip-Hop legends to Queens to celebrate Mobb Deep‘s Infinite release. The private event, hosted at Partake NYC, invited guests to revel in the legacy of Mobb Deep with DJ sets from Kid Capri and Alchemist, Crown Royal Apple cocktails, and a special performance with Havoc taking the stage for “Against The World.”
Attendees included Nas, Busta Rhymes, Spliffstar, Maino, Red Cafe, Raekwon, and more.
Infinite, released last week as Mobb Deep’s 9th studio album and the first since Prodigy’s passing in 2017. The album was led by Havoc, with longtime collaborator The Alchemist, who jointly handled production.
“To make a long story short, I linked up with Alchemist and we knew we had to start,” explained Havoc to The Breakfast Club. “I had a couple of songs already, some verses from Prodigy’s family, and Alchemist had a ton of verses already. So we just started putting it together and breaking it down.”
