The real estate company noted that Hoka is set to occupy a 4,148-square-foot retail store at 91 N. 6th Street, while Tecovas will take over the 4,174-square-foot space at 89 N. 6th Street.

Details of when the stores will open to the public were not disclosed. FN has reached out to Hoka and Tecovas for comment.

Fred Posniak, senior vice president of leasing at Empire State Realty Trust said in a statement that the Brooklyn street “continues to attract exciting brands.”

“We are pleased to welcome Hoka and Tecovas to Williamsburg’s most dynamic and sought after retail corridor,” Posniak said.

These new openings mark the continuation of years of transformation of the Brooklyn neighborhood. Surprising openings like Chanel and Hermes marked a turning point for the area, and has now become an unexpected alternative to NYC’s more traditional retail neighborhoods.

This announcement comes weeks after Salomon opened the doors to its first store in Brooklyn late last month.

Located at 127 N. 6th Street in the Williamsburg neighborhood, the 1,120-square-foot store features the Amer Sports-owned mountain sports brand’s Sportstyle product assortment. Along with Salomon’s latest collabs, the shoes and accessories are on featured in a clean, modern storefront complete with natural elements.

Jenny Taylor, vice president of marketing for Salomon North America, told FN in an interview last month that the new store reflects the brand’s commitment to connecting its customers to nature.

“Brooklyn represents an important step in connecting with a community that celebrates blending individual style and performance,” Taylor said. “Williamsburg, in particular, has its own distinct identity and character separate from Manhattan, and we’re excited to be part of a neighborhood that has shown the brand such strong support.”

In addition to Salomon, the neighborhood also is home to Nike, Birkenstock, On, The North Face, Lululemon and many more.
