STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Two New Brighton men face multiple charges, including weapon possession, driving offenses and drug-related offenses following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of a loaded firearm and controlled substances, police say.
Tyrell Chaulk, 23, and Veleek Harrell, 26, both of Jersey Street, were arrested after police observed their silver 2020 Mercedes Benz GLE on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at around 8:35 p.m. in the vicinity of Pine Street and Brighton Avenue, according to the criminal complaint. Chaulk was driving the vehicle while Harrell was seated in the rear passenger seat, the complaint says.
