“RuPaul’s Drag Race” has introduced a bevy of Jewish drag talent to America. From Jinkx Monsoon to Sasha Velour to Plane Jane, it feels like every new season has a glamorous, hilarious and gag-worthy Jewish drag queen. The latest in that line is Suzie Toot, who has already been featured in Vogue and the 2025 Out100 List since her time on the hit reality TV program.

Here are 18 things to know about her.

3. “My dad’s side of the family is Russian-Jewish, and my mom’s side is Irish Catholic, but we were raised Jewish,” Suzie has said of her heritage. “We went to Hebrew school and we did the whole gambit. I had a bar mitzvah. It was my mom’s choice to raise us in the Jewish faith.”

4. She attended summer camp in the Poconos and was in the camp’s production of “Fiddler on the Roof” at 8 years old. “I was tragically in the ensemble, but let me tell you, I wanted to be Motel so bad, but it didn’t happen,” she explained to Hey Alma.

5. Suzie really started getting into theater during her time at Palm Beach Central High School. There, she portrayed Pugsley Addams in a school production of “The Addams Family” musical. She also learned how to tap dance in high school, something she later showed off on “Drag Race.”
