RICHMOND HILL, Queens (PIX11) – At least two people were injured when a five-alarm fire forced residents out of their Queens home and into frigid temperatures late Monday night, according to the FDNY.

A video from Citizen App showed the intensity of the flames, appearing to burn through the two-story house’s upper level around 11 p.m. on 108th Street in Richmond Hill. The fire quickly rose to five alarms by midnight, according to the FDNY.

Fire officials said a resident and firefighter were both being treated for minor injuries.

Marshals are investigating the cause of the blaze. The Red Cross said it’s aiding 16 adults and three children who were displaced due to the fire.
