NEW YORK (WABC) — The F and M lines between Manhattan and Queens will temporarily switch routes beginning December 8 through the end of the month.

The lines will swap service on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

F trains will stop at Queens Plaza, Court Sq-23 St, Lexington Av/53 St, and 5 Av/53 St.

M trains will stop at 21 St-Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, Lexington Av/63 St, and 57 St.

There will be no changes to service on weekends or late nights.

The MTA said the goal is to cut down on overcrowding and delays along the Queens Boulevard line.
