President Donald Trump is again getting slammed by critics for appearing to fall asleep on the job, CNN reported.

After slamming the New York Times for questioning his mental sharpness and physical stamina, the president appeared to doze off during a meeting with his cabinet on Tuesday.

About 15 minutes after launching his diatribe against the Times, Trump appeared to have trouble keeping his eyes open as Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick lauded the president for his tariff battles and praised “the greatest cabinet for the greatest president.”

Trump appeared to blink his eyes more and more slowly as other cabinet officials gave their reports.

The president appeared to be sitting still with his eyes closed for 10 to 15 seconds at a time as Education Secretary Linda McMahon and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke.

Trump eventually moved his eyes or gave a nod as the meeting continued.

But the president’s alleged napping grew more obvious when Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke because Rubio was seated next to Trump and live cameras were focused on them both.

Responding later, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump had been “listening attentively and running the entire three-hour marathon Cabinet meeting.”

Less than a month ago, the Washington Post reported that Trump had struggled to keep his eyes open for almost 20 minutes during a meeting in the Oval Office.

Trump had often slammed his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, as “Sleepy Joe.”

When the Times recently questioned Trump’s stamina, the president retorted that he was sharper now than he was 25 years ago.

“Trump is sharp, but they are not sharp,” the president said of the Times.
